Are there any hidden costs with NextPhone?
NextPhone has no hidden costs, just flat monthly rates. Your bill should be the same each month as long as you dont add any premium features.
When you sign up, you will pay a one-time activation fee of $29.95 plus the first month's service
charge
Each bill has a 3% Federal Excise Tax on all service charges.
Each bill has a Regulatory Recovery Fee of $2.50 per phone number in your account.
International calls are billed on a per minute basis.
Additional premium features will be charged according to our rate plan.
What are Regulatory Recovery Fee surcharges?
The Regulatory Recovery Fee is $2.50 per NextPhone primary phone number. It is a fee that NextPhone charges its customers to recover implementation of E911 and regulatory-related costs that NextPhone incurs. These costs may include but are not limited to 911, E911, local number portability costs, CALEA compliance costs and other regulatory related fees and cost. The Regulatory Recovery Fee also includes similar cost incurred in foreign countries.
How does NextPhone bill for services?
Most NextPhone packages require automatic payment on a Credit Card, Debit Card or Checking Account Debit Transaction. Major Credit cards accepted include Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. NextPhone does offer Traditional Business accounts the option of receiving a monthly statement / invoice.
Will I receive a paper bill?
NextPhone bills 100% electronically to keep costs low. Your bill is available on-line and by email where you can view your service usage, charges and all account activities for any billing period.
